Affordable Fix of the Day: Mirta de Perales Hair Dressing Cream

Mirta de perales is a brand that has been around for many many years My grandmother always used products from this line and I have always heard of them. Although it has always been present in my life I’ve never really used any of their products other than the oil treatment (which is fantastic btw). So I have decided to try and write reviews for 4 hair products from this line. Today I will start with the Hair Dressing Cream with vitamin E for extremely dry hair.

First off, this product is SUPER affordable, it only cost me 5 dollars at walgreens. The first time I used the Hair Cream i didn’t feel such a big difference in texture, but after using the product a couple of times I really liked it. My hair felt soft without feeling heavy or oily.

Now, you can use this product on wet or dry hair, which means that it can also be used as a styling product. However I noticed that when it comes to styling my hair it fell short. My styles would not hold and if I touched my hair it would create unwanted volume. But I just had to remind myself that its original purpose is not for styling, just conditioning.

SO for being a very good leave-in, affordable, and doing what its meant to do (keep your hair soft) I give it 4 stars.

*Tip*
I like to use this in combination with  Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding. You could say the flaws in one product are fixed by the other. The Hair Dressing Cream keeps my hair soft while the Curly Pudding helps hold the style in place.
